Dylan Johns
MINISTER
Dylan was born in Tampa, Florida, and raised in Brooksville, where he grew up attending the Istachatta church of Christ. From a young age, he was immersed in the life of the church and made the decision to be baptized as a young man. His love for God's word led him to the Florida School of Preaching in Lakeland, where he graduated in 2017. Immediately after graduation, Dylan entered full-time ministry and has been preaching in various capacities ever since.
Dylan has served as the preacher at the Sorrento Hills church of Christ since 2023. His greatest joy in ministry is seeing God's word take root in people's lives, fostering faith and transformation.
Outside of ministry, Dylan enjoys reading, traveling, and rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He especially cherishes time with his wife of eight years, Kasey, whether traveling together or enjoying a quiet evening watching a movie.
Dylan's prayer is always to serve faithfully, glorify God in his preaching and daily life, and encourage others to grow closer to Christ. His ministry is shaped by a deep love for God's people and a desire to see the church strengthened through the power of the gospel.
